Questions regarding low-temperature distillation operations

Our unit operates a low-temperature distillation unit, which has been very stable! There’s been a problem recently, and I really don’t understand it. I hope fellow sailors can offer some suggestions! The main issue is that in T02, the excessive level of heavy components at the top of the tower has led to failures in 3 consecutive shifts! Here’s what happened: after the first discharge operation from the bottom of tower T02, discharge began once the conditions at the top of tower T02 were satisfactory. However, during that period the pressure was extremely unstable, which caused occasional cases where the parameters at the top of the tower exceeded the specified limits; yet both the heating level at the bottom of the tower and the temperatures at the top and bottom of the tower remained within normal ranges! Later, once the pressure stabilized and the discharge from the top of the tower became acceptable, this situation occurred: after discharging material from the top of the tower for a certain period of time, the concentration of heavy components would exceed the allowed limits, and this happened over shorter and shorter periods of time. Throughout the process, the pressure remained stable, the heating at the bottom of the tower was constant, and the temperatures at both the bottom and top of the tower were within normal ranges! It has already lasted 4 shifts – please help!
