The newly replaced diesel engine filter prevents the engine from starting – what could be the reason? Is it related to the quality of the diesel? Oil can’t pass through the filter element!
It’s possible that the diesel dew point is not up to standard, which has caused the filter to get clogged.
It’s getting cold, and the diesel has started to solidify; as a result, the fuel pump cannot inject enough fuel into the cylinders, so ignition is not possible. Just use oil with a lower viscosity, or heat the engine and fuel lines with fire.
It’s not a problem with the diesel cold filter plugging point; tests have been done and there’s no issue. Is it related to the oxidation stability of diesel?
