Is it allowed to perform welding work around the gas fan? What preventive measures are needed?
First, check whether there is any gas leakage around the gas fan; if no leakage is detected, then remove any flammable materials from the area before conducting a space analysis. Work can only begin after the analysis shows that it is safe to do so, and supervision by a dedicated person is required during such work.
