What is the effect of varying the gas-to-steam ratio in the Texaco conversion process on bed temperature?
I’ve seen it said that a too low water vapor content in the feed gas causes the bed temperature to rise – how can this be explained? If there is less water in the raw materials, doesn’t that mean the heat generated is less as well? How does the water level rise in the bed layer?
