I now want to analyze the gas composition and concentration at the top of the fluidized bed in a circulating fluidized bed boiler: it may contain CO, CO2, O2, and SO2. We also use the Austen gas analysis method, but it is not used to analyze the gas composition at the top of the fluidized bed in boilers; rather, it is used for analyzing containers after displacement, as well as before starting up the furnace. As for circulating fluidized bed boilers, our unit also uses them, but as far as I know, they have never been analyzed. I think what you need to analyze is flue gas, right? There is a device specifically designed for detecting flue gas, and we use this device to test flue gas.

First, remove CO2 and SO2; using KOH in the first bottle and carrying out 7 absorption exchanges, the percentages of CO2 and SO2 can be obtained ; Then, a potassium pyrogallic acid solution was prepared using pyrogallic acid and KOH to absorb oxygen, thereby determining the oxygen content ; Finally, an amine copper(I) chloride solution was used to absorb CO, thereby determining the CO content. The sulfur dioxide content is too low; this method cannot be used for determination, and other methods must be employed instead.
A senior colleague advised us to learn from each other: “This is a classic analysis method whose results are quite reliable; however, it requires the operator to have good practical experience as well as an understanding of relevant chemical knowledge.” A more advanced method for flue gas analysis today is the CEMS system, which can analyze oxygen, carbon oxides, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides simultaneously. Oxygen content is typically determined using zirconia or magnetohydrological methods, while other oxides are measured by infrared gas analysis. Additionally, the flue gas flow rate can be measured in order to calculate the total amount of pollutants emitted. ”
Austenite is still widely used; it is also covered in laboratory technician exams, mainly because of its low cost and the fact that it works well for routine measurements
