Hydraulic oil, machine oil, and gear oil of the same grade have the same viscosity; the only difference lies in varying temperature conditions. The modifying components added vary depending on the intended use of the oil, and differences only become apparent at certain temperatures. Oil with the same viscosity does not change significantly below 50 degrees. It is closely related to temperature; under normal circumstances, the viscosity of gear oil is significantly higher than that of hydraulic oil. But I’m not sure what type of oil is being used for the machinery in question – is it lubricating oil or engine oil? However, the viscosity of these two types under identical conditions is higher than that of hydraulic oil. However, the viscosity of the same grade is the same at a specific temperature. Generally, lubricating oil can replace hydraulic oil, but hydraulic oil cannot replace lubricating oil, as its rust prevention capability is much lower than that of lubricating oil; hydraulic oil can cause important components to rust
