Once the compressor is started, the pipelines of the entire skid vibrate. How can this be resolved? How should support be added?
Please provide the flowchart and its detailed steps
If the compressor does not vibrate much but the pipes do, in my opinion: 1. Check the stress on the pipes; if it’s possible to modify them, do so to eliminate such vibration; 2. Add bellows to minimize pipeline stress as much as possible ; 3. Install spring supports or spring hangers in the straight pipe sections to reduce vibration. It is best to have detailed flowcharts and charts showing the stress requirements for compressor flange connections in order to conduct a specific analysis of the forces involved.
This issue can be resolved by installing a check valve and a metal flexible connection (or bellows) at the compressor outlet.
Is your compressor reciprocating or centrifugal?
It’s best to find the cause of the vibration first. Is it due to insufficient basic strength? Is the pipe stress calculation still too high? It’s still a problem with the design of the machine itself, such as high-frequency vibrations, etc
If it’s the compressor vibrating, then consideration should be given to leveling and aligning the compressor
