How to use an electric heater

The unit is equipped with an electric heater of vertical type, with a flow rate of 2.5 tons per hour, a pressure of 0.5 Mpa, and an inlet temperature of 300°C; the desired heating temperature is 460°C. What should be noted during operation? I heard that if not handled properly, it can cause the heater to burn out, thereby changing its material.
What medium is being heated? I have used ones similar to shell-and-tube heat exchangers, where the thermal resistance wire is placed inside the tubes and the fluid flows between them; there is temperature control, and when the set temperature is reached the current returns to zero. How do you control this one?
The medium is 2.0 tons of steam and 0.5 tons of methanol
