After decarburization, it should not affect the denitration process. The operating pressure for denitration is 3.3 MPa; the tower is 45 m high and has a diameter of 3600 mm. It consists of three sections of packing, each 10 m high, with a tray distributor in each section. The circulation rate is 330 m3/h, while the gas processing capacity is 120,000 Nm3/h. During operation, there is an unexplained increase in pressure difference; adding antifoam agents or salad oil reduces this pressure difference, and sometimes using clear liquid also helps.

This phenomenon has also occurred in our factory; it is mainly due to poor regeneration efficiency, which results in weak desulfurization capacity and an inability to remove sulfur. Our factory’s final improvement measure was to install a new change-and-regeneration tank, maintain the change-and-regeneration temperature, and increase the amount of regeneration air; the results have improved significantly compared to before. In a situation like the owner’s, the production system should be adjusted to reduce its capacity, thereby lowering the volume of liquid that circulates. If no such adjustment is made, the circulation volume will have to increase, and given the poor quality of the solution, this can lead to a vicious cycle, resulting in liquid buildup and the solution clogging the valves.
