Technical improvement methods for the slag pool beneath the lock-hopper slag discharge system. Our slag pool often gets clogged, and the slag removal machine frequently gets stuck and stops working; the slag in the pool constantly blocks the slag pump, requiring people to go in and clear it out. Do any of you experts have any good suggestions or insights?

The ash content in the coal you use is too high; the slag removal machine chosen is too small, resulting in insufficient slag removal capacity. To make a fundamental change, it is necessary to control the type of coal used and increase the capacity of the slag removal machine. (Additionally, the slag removal machine can be isolated so that the slag can be sent directly to the slag collection tank.) This is not a long-term solution.)
Having seen your slag skimming machines and slag tanks, I noticed that there is too much fine slag; the atomization effect during the gasification process might be problematic, and the slag discharged is quite sticky. I recommend that you analyze sample slags and carefully adjust the operating parameters. If necessary, check the relevant parameters of the burners – only when the discharged slag is in proper condition can the proper functioning of the slag skimming machines be ensured. It’s just my personal opinion; of course, it’s not ruled out that there is a problem with the slag skimmer itself.
The burner does not atomize properly, resulting in poor combustion, an increase in residues, a reduction in gas production, and poor quality of the useful gas components. It is recommended to identify the root cause of this issue
