Water is pumped from deep wells into two tanks on land, one large and one small; the pump starts pumping as soon as either tank runs low on water and stops when the tanks are full. How to control this? There is a problem: when water is pumped in, since it’s a small tank, it fills up quickly. If pumping continues, water will overflow from the small tank, yet the large tank still needs more water to be filled. If the well is dry, it will be automatically refilled with tap water. Solution: Use a water level controller along with a solenoid valve
Float-type inlet valves should be installed in both large and small water tanks; they shut off when the water level is full, preventing overflow. The high-level switch stops the pump, while the low-level switch starts it.
