How deep is your well? If the depth is not too great, a suitable self-priming pump can be used for pumping (self-priming pumps have a suction height limit); if the depth is too great, a deep well pump should be used to pump water up.
When the water depth exceeds 10 meters, self-priming pumps are also useless. The simplest method is to use a submersible pump and create a small bracket to place at the bottom of the well.
Use submersible pumps, including: sewage submersible pumps, axial flow pumps, mixed-flow pumps, long-shaft pumps, etc. . The suction lift of a dry pump generally does not exceed 4.5 m, and a priming device is required, or the pump must be filled with water before starting (for self-priming pumps). . . .
We use deep well submersible pumps for all our wells that are 120 meters deep; we have also tried other pumps, but their performance is not as good as that of deep well submersible pumps.
Haha, if it’s for use at home, just build a water well. I used one in my rural hometown; a well with a depth of less than 6 meters works very well – it’s energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. For office use, it’s better to choose a submersible pump; the theoretical maximum suction height for surface pumps is 10 meters, and I’ve used ones with a practical suction height of 7 meters – it becomes difficult to achieve higher heights.
