Help: Should PDS use the PLACE specification or SKETCH?

Help: I’ve only started learning *PDS recently. An older colleague told me that when drawing pipes, it’s better to use the ‘place’ function rather than the ‘sketch’ function. Personally, I think the latter has many useful features, so I’m puzzled as to why it isn’t used more often. Could anyone please help me understand this?
There’s nothing good or bad about it; as long as it can be drawn and is drawn correctly, that’s enough. It depends on personal preference! Things like slope pipes are drawn using sketches
Place and sketch must be used together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use both of them together too! I just heard from a colleague that PLACE is better! ...The profile picture upstairs is awesome, hehe!
