Accident types: Damage to the vaporizer burner, damage to the slag discharge system, insufficient washing, shutdown of the lean methanol pump, high moisture content in the regenerated methanol, issues related to the compression unit’s anti-surge mechanism, high methanol content at the inlet, and so on
Damaged burner in the gasification furnace, insufficient load on the air compressor or frequent tripping, vibration in the CO2 compressor, anti-surge losses in the ammonia refrigeration unit and syngas compressor, excessive temperature inside the synthesis tower, and so on
1. The burners in the gasification furnace need to be replaced every two months or so; they can also get damaged. Problems can arise with the water-coal slurry pump, as well as with the ratio of coal slurry used. The cooling system of the nozzles is also prone to issues. 2. In low-temperature methanol washing, the flow rate of the lean liquid pump is not properly controlled, resulting in excessive hydrogen sulfide levels at the outlet and low purity of carbon dioxide; moreover, problems can also arise in the refrigeration system. 3. There are often problems with the compressors in synthetic systems, and there are also many failures in chiller systems as well. Problems can only be identified during production
