I’m not sure if it’s right or wrong; it’s just for reference. Coke yield = mass of final coke / mass of raw coal. Tar yield = mass of tar after dust and water removal / mass of raw coal. Gas phase yield = total volume of gas * average density of the mixed gas / mass of raw coal. As for the product recovery rate, it depends on what product is being recovered; is it recovered from the tar? Still in a gas state; the base value for calculation should be different.
My empirical data: the yield of coal converted to coke, that is, the coking efficiency of coal, ranges from 72% to 76%; the higher the volatile matter content of the coal, the lower the coking efficiency； Gas: 1 ton of dry coal produces approximately 300–350 standard cubic meters of gas. For top-mounted coke ovens, I prefer to use 325 cubic meters, while for pusher-type coke ovens, I prefer 340 standard cubic meters. The tar yield accounts for 4% of the dry coal.
