In recent years, the sulfuric acid production capacity in our country has grown rapidly, and significant changes have taken place in the structure and technology used in its production. In order to better share the achievements made in the development of sulfuric acid production in our country, we hope that everyone will participate by providing statistics on our country’s sulfuric acid manufacturers and their production capacities. These statistics will be updated continuously based on the responses received; the information included will be the names of the companies, the scale of each production facility, and the raw materials used for sulfuric acid production, among other things
Guangxi Yinyi Technology Chemical Co., Ltd. – 400kt/a sulfur-based sulfuric acid production. Production is now at full capacity.
Anhui Xinzhongyuan Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. has two sulfuric acid production units: one with a capacity of 120,000 tons and the other with a capacity of 150,000 tons. One set is currently under major repair, while the second set is operating at full capacity.
Sichuan Jilong Chemical Building Materials Co., Ltd. 200kt/a sulfur-based acid production plant
In Hubei Yihua, there are 2 sets of acid production facilities capable of producing 150,000 tons each using pyrite; 1 set with a capacity of 300,000 tons for acid production from sulfur concentrate; 1 set with a capacity of 300,000 tons for acid production from sulfur, and 2 sets with a capacity of 600,000 tons each – all of which are operating at full capacity
Bailianlian in Jiaozuo, Henan – two sets capable of producing 330,000 tons per year of sulfuric acid
In Tongling, there are two sets of facilities for producing sulfuric acid from 400,000 tons of sulfur concentrate each, as well as another set capable of processing 800,000 tons, all operating at full capacity.

This post was last edited by melao on 2011-11-21 at 16:28. The Wanyang Jinlian Group in Jiyuan, Henan, has two units for producing acid from smelting flue gas with a capacity of 100,000 tons each. Henan Jiyuan Jinli Smelting Co., Ltd. has a set capable of processing 120,000 tons per unit, as well as another set capable of handling 200,000 tons per unit, for the production of acid from lead smelting flue gas. All four sets of equipment are currently in production. The total capacity is 520,000 tons per year.
Chongqing Xinhua Chemical Co., Ltd.: 100,000 tons of sulfuric acid per year, at full capacity
Chuanhua Co., Ltd.: 300,000 tons per year of sulfur-based sulfuric acid production
