The liquid ring vacuum pump required in this process system; process conditions: medium to be evacuated: HCl gas, along with trace amounts of siloxane and ethanol. System vacuum level: -0.07 to -0.09 MPA. Pumping capacity: 2500 m3/h. The pressure at the outlet of the vacuum pump is slightly positive, around 10 to 25 kPa. Currently, we are considering using two types of vacuum pumps: one that uses concentrated sulfuric acid as the working fluid, and the other that uses water as the working fluid. The former is made of carbon steel and its approximate model is a 2BE1 type vacuum pump; the latter uses FSK-15 vacuum pumps connected in parallel. Hello, I recommend using water as the circulating fluid. With concentrated sulfuric acid, if the system isn’t properly sealed, its concentration will decrease, and it will be necessary to replace the pump within a week. Unless materials with excellent corrosion resistance are used, such as fiberglass, these pumps don’t have a long service life due to the properties of their material. Moreover, the cost is relatively high; personally, I think using water as the working fluid is more cost-effective
