In the design of the Second Chemical Plant, there is no burner protection pump in the conversion unit. During normal operation, water for the burners is supplied through the boiler feed valve. I’m not sure what the effectiveness of using boiler feed water is; please advise those with more experience
It’s completely possible. What is the diameter of the pipeline that carries the boiler feed water pump water to the burner?
Reply to 2# pdslht: There is no pump; it’s the pressure of the boiler water itself that pushes the fluid to the burner. Is it effective?
It works well. Our factory originally had a burner protection pump; we modified it to use the boiler feed water, and now we no longer need a pump

It’s fine for the boiler water temperature to be higher; in fact, it’s beneficial for the burners
No problem. What’s available now is the burner pump originally designed for use, but it has been modified to use boiler water instead, and it works quite well. It’s Donghui in Fenyang, Shanxi.
A small temperature difference in the boiler water is beneficial for the burner and also saves energy.
I’ve learned it, but if the boiler pump fails or there’s a power outage, is there any backup water supply?
