The mercury content in the natural gas feedstock used by our facility is virtually negligible. The activated carbon used for mercury removal in this LNG process is coal-based activated carbon with an iodine adsorption value of 1050; I’m not sure whether it can still be used Will using it continuously cause corrosion to the cold box?
