Please help me – I’m using a Gibbs reactor to simulate a gasification furnace, but the results obtained are different from the actual ones. I’d like to know what causes this. Can anyone tell me about the principles of the Gibbs reactor as well as its limitations in application? Thank you for your help

It’s not feasible to use only a Gibbs reactor to simulate a gasification furnace, right? Using both a Gibbs reactor and a conversion reactor should yield more accurate results. This is just a tentative suggestion; I’m looking forward to insights from experts
Reply to 2# ad08: The difference is quite significant. For example, if the theoretical yield of my product is 6% while the actual yield is 10%, then the error is pretty large. I use the gasification process designed by Qin Yunfei in my operations; could you help me analyze this?
Simulation is always just simulation; if what it produces is exactly what’s expected, then there’s no need for pilot tests
The reaction process needs to be corrected, as the actual gasification process cannot reach equilibrium; generally, an equilibrium temperature difference is used for this correction. The original poster can look up relevant literature on the subject.
A reminder: pay attention to the setting of the coal enthalpy of formation.
