Aircraft fuel hydrogenation generally requires that it be free of water, yet water separation tanks are installed, and water is removed on a regular basis. So, does the hydroprocessing unit for aviation kerosene in production actually contain water? Seeking expert advice for a solution

In my humble opinion, the reason no one answers is that the question is too simple. If it can contain water, then there’s no need for liquid removal; this is how quality is ensured. Generally, it also contains relatively little moisture, so cutting it once after a long period of time is sufficient. Or I don’t know what you want to ask

One thing that’s hard to guarantee is the absence of oxygen; with oxygen-containing hydrogenation, water may be produced. That’s how I think about it. Water may come from the raw materials, or from the distillation process; it can also be present as a result of stripping. Generally, aviation fuel is passed through dehydrators or coagulators to remove water. Water content in aviation fuel can lead to silver corrosion and copper corrosion, as well as issues with the freezing point not meeting specifications
