For the low-boiling-point mixture under test

Dear colleagues: I use GS to analyze methylal, but the substances involved in its synthesis reaction (methanol, formaldehyde, methylal) all have relatively low boiling points, and peak overlap occurs (overlap between methanol and methylal). What should I do to improve this situation? I would appreciate some advice from those with more experience! Additionally, my research funding is limited, so I can’t afford high-quality columns. :'(
1. The column temperature can be reduced; if the peaks of high-boiling compounds appear too slowly or show tailing, a programmed temperature rise can be used. 2.
