At present, the two major coal chemical industry bases in Xinjiang – the Zhundong and Ili coal-to-natural gas projects – are in full swing. The first phase of Qinghua in Ili, with a capacity of 1.375 billion cubic meters, is nearly complete. The civil engineering work for the first phase of Bayandai in Yining City, Ili, with a capacity of 2 billion cubic meters, has also reached the surface level. The project in Chaxian undertaken by China Power Investment has had its overall cost and gasification contract finalized; the dormitory buildings have been built, and projects carried out by State Power Corporation and others are also progressing in an orderly manner. According to the promotional materials from Zhundong, Huaneng began operations in 2013, and the same was true for Huadian. Henan Longyu started operating in 2014. As for China Coal, I wonder if any work has been done there and what the progress is. Those who are aware of the situation, please share your insights
Xinjiang Qinghua is indeed being built very quickly; The civil work for most of the facilities in the Yili Xintian project was also completed quickly.
Huaneng’s project is currently evaluating various process package options; it’s still early
Hehe, boss, I’m talking about those down there... they really aren’t taking any concrete action.
The pre-plant area of the SPIC Yinan project has been completed, and the overall design will also be finalized.
I’ve been going over these projects these past two days; it seems that China Power Investment is about to issue a tender for EPC work, while there doesn’t seem to be much activity regarding Qinghua’s project at the moment. The new office building of Xintian Coal Chemical Industry has already been put into use.
What does your brother do for work? Is he employed in a coal-to-gas company? Going out for an inspection now?
In Xinjiang, the projects that are progressing relatively quickly are Qinghua and Guanghui; those are both in the initial stages of construction or installation :)
