GB713 specifies that Q345R must have a low-temperature impact resistance of no more than 0°C upon leaving the factory; therefore, for any material of type 345R, test data on low-temperature impact resistance is required, regardless of its intended use. Wugang Panglong
JB/T4712 specifies that when the design temperature for saddle supports is equal to or lower than -20°C, design requirements should be based on the actual conditions; if necessary, the designer may impose additional low-temperature testing requirements on materials such as the web, or choose other suitable materials.

Actually, Q235A is sufficient; there’s no need to choose Q345R. Refer to clause 3.5 of the interpretation of standard JB/T4712.1-2007.
