Our unit is equipped with an oxygen flow self-regulating valve; the valve body is a globe valve, and it is installed with high pressure on the inlet side and low pressure on the outlet side, right? Is this good for the valve? Are there any requirements or specifications for installing stop valves?
Reply to 1#: I believe it exceeds the standards JB/T 450-2008, GB/T 12235-2007, API Std 602-2009 NINTH EDITION, MSS SP-42-2004, MSS SP-85-2002, and MSS SP-118-2007. These are the standards related to globe valves that I am aware of. I’m a newcomer; please let those with more experience answer complex questions so that we can learn together*
Reply to 1#: I believe in surpassing excellence. This is a control valve of the GLOBE type, and such valves certainly have a specific orientation for installation; if installed in the wrong direction, it will not function properly. Please obtain the installation guide from the manufacturer of this product, as it will contain clear instructions on this matter. Improper installation, if persisted for a long time, can cause damage to the internal components, rendering the valve unusable.
