The medium inside the pipeline is demineralized water; what pH level is effective in preventing corrosion?
Deionized water: Water in which all salts have been removed or reduced to a certain extent. It shouldn’t be very corrosive. It has little impact on the pipes
Corrosion-resistant non-metallic pipes should be used as much as possible for desalinated water pipelines to prevent secondary pollution and affect water quality.
Generally speaking, demineralized water removes substances such as inorganic salts and organic salts, **which reduces the degree of corrosion caused by salt hydrolysis; however, it is best to maintain the pH level between 6 and 9, as this keeps the level of corrosion very low.
