This post was last edited by jbcyf on 2011-11-27 at 10:56. The hot water in my system is supplied for use in the gas separation unit, but what is it used for there? Is heat transfer water the same as deoxygenated water? Or some other water? Who can explain this in detail? Thank you all.
The vapor phase is used as the heat source for the distillation tower, while the heat transfer water is deoxygenated water
The heat transfer medium water uses deoxygenated water for catalyzed low-temperature heat exchange, then goes to the gas separation unit as a heat source, and finally returns to the catalytic unit. This thermal coupling method is more conducive to the full utilization of the device’s thermal energy.

Catalytic hot water is used as the heat source at the bottom of the distillation column in such systems; generally, a hot water temperature of 80–100 degrees is sufficient. Although the temperature isn’t high, the flow rate is quite large, and according to principles of chemical thermodynamics, a significant amount of exergy is still present.
The catalytic heat medium water should be deionized water; degassing is not necessary. Its purpose is to recover the low-temperature thermal energy from catalysis and use it as a heat source for the gas separation unit, with the goal of saving energy and reducing consumption.
Reply to 6# Sanlian and Workshop: My installation has a total of 6 heat exchangers that use heat transfer fluid water. Four of these use heat transfer fluid water, desalinated water, and circulating water; the remaining two use desalinated water and circulating water. If desalinated water is equivalent to heat transfer fluid water, then wouldn’t that mean...?
We use demineralized water. Also known as a low-temperature thermal system.
We have been using deoxygenated water, and we haven’t noticed any issues.
