The tested safety valves started leaking water and air after being used – why?

You haven’t clarified many questions: 1. What is your medium? 2. Is the safety valve connected by flanges or some other method? 3. What type of safety valve? These things aren’t clear enough; is it impossible to help you analyze them?
A safety valve has a specific pressure range; I’m not aware of anything else regarding it, so I can’t be of much help!
1. First, check whether the safety valve in use matches the design specification. 2. Check whether the set pressure of the safety valve is consistent with the design. 3. Under what circumstances does a safety valve leak? 4. For ordinary equipment and pipelines during strength testing, safety valves are not connected, as the pressure at this time is higher than the operating pressure of the safety valves. If a safety valve is installed during this process, leakage from the safety valve is inevitable. 5. The safety valve should be recalibrated on-site before installation. Check whether it matches the set value. 6. Check whether there are any impurities stuck at the valve seat and valve core. It can also easily cause the safety valve to leak.
