Corrosion of a water pipeline once

Ladies and gentlemen: The water pipes in our factory last for 5 years before corrosion and leaks start to occur frequently. After cutting open the pipe, it was found that the inner wall of the pipe was corroded and pitted. The pH value of water is neutral. I wonder if anyone has encountered this? Please give your advice
It’s normal for the raw water to have a neutral pH value but poor water quality. It is recommended to use PE composite pipes instead.
There are also many leaks in the water pipes of our company, mainly in the branch pipes. With low water usage on regular days, the flow rate is slow, and the water stays in those pipes for long periods, which causes corrosion; whereas the pipes in the living areas, installed during the same period, are basically in good condition!
