I would like to ask fellow professionals: for storage tanks in large tank farms, safety measures for transferring materials are generally considered (that is, in the event of a leak in one tank, all the material needs to be transferred to other safe tanks). Is there any specified time frame or standard for such material transfer? Thank you very much!
First, it is important to ensure that there are no sources of fire in the vicinity. Things such as open flames, electrical leaks, static electricity, and lightning must be avoided. Avoid direct midday sunlight and heat accumulation, etc. Personal protection must be in place. These are the most important.
The key is the time for material transfer; are there any relevant regulations?
