Currently, online laser concentration meters are used for monitoring. It is generally difficult to collect samples manually from the flue gas to obtain information on catalyst particles, as these particles stick to the walls of the sampling containers, resulting in inaccurate measurement data. So the best approach is to use an online laser concentration meter for monitoring. Offline monitoring involves dynamic multi-point sampling on-site, followed by analysis using an analyzer. Due to its high sampling ambient temperature and long sampling time, it cannot meet the requirements of the development of modern production technologies. My laser-based online monitoring system for catalyst particles uses laser and computer technology to determine in real time the concentration and particle size distribution of catalyst particles in the flue gas ducts. It also records online the trends in particle concentration within the catalyst system, and provides alarm functions, thereby offering a scientific basis for comprehensive and timely monitoring of the equipment’s operating conditions.
