Is the Rosemount 3051 better or the 2051?

These are two types of transmitters at different levels, with a significant difference in price; it’s not easy to determine directly which one is better or worse.
3051 is good; our factory uses it in large quantities

Now everyone uses 3051; in terms of both design and performance, 3051 is superior.

The price difference is not significant, but the 2051 is a newly launched product. The 2051 and the 3051 differ slightly in appearance, but their performance is the same; the 2051 is essentially a version of the 3051 with some options removed, such as hardware and zero-point adjustment – features that are standard on the 3051, whereas they must be selected separately for the 2051. Compared to 2051, 3051 offers a wider range of options; it is recommended to use 3051.
2051 is a replacement for 1151, but its overall performance is not as good as that of 3051
It’s definitely 3051; 2051 is what Emerson uses to compete in the low-end market
