Probably everyone who works in the workplace hopes to secure at least one \"stable job\" that guarantees income regardless of economic conditions, offering stability and longevity. However, in today’s highly competitive work environment, job opportunities of any kind can be lost at any time. So, many people began to consider working for themselves, becoming hardworking yet happy open-collar workers. An open-collar worker is a person who performs jobs at home that used to require an office environment. An open-collar worker (literally meaning “worker with an open collar”) is someone who uses their home as an office and works from there, that is, a “freelancer”. Home-based entrepreneurship is attracting an increasing number of people to join its ranks. These “open-collar workers” come from various backgrounds: lifelong entrepreneurs, housewives, workers who have lost their jobs due to corporate downsizing, graduate students, parents who stay at home with their children, people with disabilities who cannot leave home, and retirees. But their goals are similar: to be their own bosses, work flexible hours, and devote their efforts to projects they are passionate about. Home-based entrepreneurship is drawing in more and more people. These “starter workers” come from various backgrounds: experienced entrepreneurs, domestic workers, laid-off employees, recently graduated students, parents staying at home, people with disabilities who cannot go out, and retirees, among others. However, their goal is the same: to be their own boss, have flexible working hours, and be able to devote time to doing what they enjoy.
