The Building Design Fire Protection Code is used as the main guideline for the overall layout. How should the fire separation distance between gas boilers and surrounding facilities be determined? If the boiler installation is considered a source of open flame or sparks, building codes specify that the fire separation distance from Class A installations should be 30 meters. However, according to building codes or the design specifications for boiler rooms, such installations are classified as Class D. If the distance requirement is determined based on Class D facilities, then the maximum distance from Class A facilities is 16 meters, while the maximum distance from Class B facilities is 14 meters. I would like to ask experienced layout engineers how such issues should be resolved
