As for how the dry basis and wet basis contents of products are determined in production, is it something like this: for copper sulfate products, the dry basis content refers to the amount without any moisture after drying. Is the wet basis content the amount of copper sulfate pentahydrate? However, after centrifugation, products generally still contain moisture even if they are copper sulfate pentahydrate crystals; how should this be expressed on a wet basis?
The dry basis content refers to the amount of a substance after it has been dried, with no moisture present, while the wet basis content represents the proportion of that substance within the total amount of moisture present； After centrifugation, copper sulfate pentahydrate crystals also contain moisture, which is expressed on a wet basis as: dry basis copper sulfate divided by the copper sulfate crystals, multiplied by 100%.
