What welding wire should be used for the web of 0Cr13Al+Q245R composite plates?
Three types of welding wires are used: base layer, multi-layer, and the transition zone between base layer and multi-layer. Since different manufacturers give these wires different names, it is necessary to consult the manufacturer’s customer service for recommendations
This post was last edited by ztr1118 on 2011-12-3 at 12:35. The E4315 type welding material is used at the grassroots level. E309-16 welding material can be used for both the transition layer and the clad layer.

The welding wire should be of type A103, the welding rod of type A307. The base metal layer should use J427, while the transition layer requires special-shaped grooves – this is because the steel plate is subject to explosions, which can easily cause cracks
