What material do people think is best for pure water pipes? A workshop has 4 floors, and pure water needs to be supplied to the equipment on each floor. I want to use metal pipes; PP-R pipes have a short span and seem difficult to lay. Any good suggestions?

When water is delivered to the equipment using iron pipes, its purity is reduced. I don’t seem to have seen small-diameter pipes made of steel and plastic composites; PP/PPR pipes are relatively soft. As alternatives, one can use sanitary-grade stainless steel pipes, drinking-water grade PVC pipes, or steel pipes with plastic-coated interiors

The smallest diameter for steel-reinforced plastic composite pipes is DN50; there is no smaller size available, and such pipes may not be suitable in some applications. PPR should work for small diameters; although it is softer, it should have little impact.
Our company uses sanitary-grade 304 stainless steel.
