Don’t believe those things; in ordinary coking plants, there’s nothing wrong with the processes and equipment used for handling crude benzene – the problems lie in the operation itself! If your facility’s crude benzene production is not normal, you can share the various test results, and I’ll help diagnose the issue and offer some suggestions! The 180-degree distillation yield for benzene is 94; 40 kg of washing oil is consumed per ton of benzene, with a yield of 0.9%. This unit claims that it is possible to increase the benzene yield to over 1, with around 20 kg of washing oil required

That can’t be true; the benzene consumption is around 20 tons, and the recovery rate exceeds 1. These are all mature technologies – so how can the quality of the washed oil be ensured?
Reply to 4# Mountain Wind with the Moon: In our plant, the temperature of the gas is around 25 degrees in winter, and it rises to 30–35 degrees in summer. The temperature of the lean oil remains high at 40–42 degrees throughout the year. Due to limitations related to the equipment and low-temperature water, the recovery rate of crude benzene stays above 90%, with an average annual recovery rate of 0.97–1.0%. The consumption of washing oil is high, at 50 kg per ton of benzene. There are no facilities for testing the benzene content in the gas and in the lean and rich oils. When using a washing process at 270 degrees, the concentration of benzene in the output oil drops below 30%, making it difficult to reduce the washing oil consumption to under 40 kilograms. If we try to reduce the washing oil consumption by increasing the reflux rate and thus lowering the temperature at the top of the debenzening tower, the yield of crude benzene will decrease significantly. How can we reduce the washing oil consumption while maintaining the quality of the recycled oil? (I added you on Q)
The amount of washing oil consumed per ton of benzene is 20; I really want to learn that too*, but it’s just theoretical knowledge.
The yield of crude benzene depends on the benzene content before and after the tower. Additionally, both the gas temperature and the oil washing temperature are too high. Around 23 degrees in summer and around 25 degrees in winter is fine; the lean oil temperature should be about 2 degrees higher than the gas temperature
The benzene content behind the tower is within 3 g/m3, with a recovery rate of 1.19
