What kind of devices are hydrocracking and catalytic cracking, and what are their similarities?

What are the main differences? Especially in terms of exhaust emissions? I hope someone who understands this can answer, thank you!
http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-939105-1-2.html, take a look at this and identify the similarities: Both hydrocracking catalysts and catalytic cracking catalysts have acidic sites, and their stabilization processes are somewhat similar; however, in the older designs, butane was removed first and then ethane was desorbed, with no absorption step involved in those processes.
