It should be a thermal insulation nail, that is, one used to fix thermal insulation materials.
They are the insulation nails used to secure the insulation material; in some materials, they are also referred to as grip nails
Do you mean something like a pipe that has an insulation jacket, with those nails on it serving to connect and secure it?
