I always thought that the maximum content of monoammonium fertilizer was 60% (10% nitrogen and 50% phosphorus). Recently, a representative from a compound fertilizer manufacturer told me that the final content of industrial-grade monoammonium fertilizer is 70–80%. So what are the levels of nitrogen and phosphorus in it? I’d like to ask the owners of ammonium fertilizer manufacturers: can that manufacturer actually produce it?

The nitrogen content in industrial phosphatic ammonium is generally around 12, while the phosphorus pentoxide content is around 61. It can be used to produce high-end fully water-soluble fertilizers or drip irrigation fertilizers.
Industrial-grade products have no requirements regarding heavy metals; can they be used as fertilizers?

We use 66 ammonium nitrate in the production of compound fertilizers. However, its low nitrogen content makes it less effective and prone to causing powdering; it is suitable for producing products with high nitrogen content. 73 ammonium nitrate is suitable for use in BB drip irrigation fertilizers
Industrial monoammonium phosphate mainly refers to (NH4)H2PO4; its theoretical nitrogen content is 12.17% and its theoretical P2O5 content is 61.74%. The industrial ammonium phosphate produced by ordinary companies is in the form of white crystals, with a purity of (NH4)H2PO4 of over 98%
I completely agree with what was said on floor 9! Industrial-grade monoammonium is usually used in high-quality fertilizers. We’re just using it. It’s really expensive! The content of 12-61-0: the cost for each level is over 90 yuan, nearly 100 yuan. Typically, the cost of each component in agricultural-grade fertilizers is less than 60 yuan.
Industrial-grade monoammonium can certainly be used as a fertilizer. Currently, it is mainly employed in the production of fertilizers with very high nutrient content, typically in fully water-soluble fertilizers. However, the current market price is at least 5,300–5,600 yuan per ton; the cost is too high, so it cannot be used as an ordinary compound fertilizer.
