The MTBE raw material contains 40, while in 1-butene it’s around 120. . The excess level of butadiene is directly related to the operations involving butadiene at the upstream stage. If it cannot be resolved through him, then the only option is to add a hydrogenation unit before 1-butene, which is very costly. Reduce butadiene to 1-butene. . .
Pyrolyzed C4 must undergo butadiene extraction before it can be used as a raw material for MTBE; using it directly would be too costly.
