Our company uses metal or rubber hoses for loading and unloading oil products. Whenever the loading and unloading is completed, the hoses are retracted and placed in a U-shaped position (mainly because the space on site is limited; if they aren’t retracted, there’s a risk that the vehicles used for loading and unloading might crush them while moving backward). When placed in a U-shaped position, the frequent movement of the hoses leads to wear and a reduced lifespan of those hoses, as well as an increased workload for the staff. Are there any other methods that can reduce the movement of the hoses or lessen the staff’s workload?
Wrapping protective materials such as rubber sheets or hemp rope around the outside of the metal hose, and replacing them regularly, can extend the lifespan of the hose.
A groove is created in the area where the flexible metal hose is placed; the size and depth of this groove are determined based on the dimensions of the metal tube. Once the flexible metal hose is no longer in use, it is placed in this groove, so that vehicles passing by will not damage it. You can give it a try.
Hook devices are installed at the loading/unloading platform and at the front end of the hose; hang them on when not in use, and remove them when needed

A small bracket can be made, a few hundred units in height; once it’s no longer in use, it can be placed on a shelf. The hose should be covered with something to protect it from wind and sunlight.
