In the new year of 2012, our plans, ideas, suggestions, hopes, and so on... we certainly have many words and thoughts to share, as we are members of this forum, participants, and contributors. Therefore, in order to better support HaiChuan, contribute to it, and enable it to serve us better, the Coal Chemicals Division is now seeking reasonable suggestions; any good ideas submitted will be rewarded specially once adopted. The suggestions will be made public, and reports regarding overprints will be sent to the overprint supervisor and assistant via in-app messages. Specific implementation plan: Spirit of the event: My Coal Chemical Industry Zone, My Home. Purpose of the event: Participation by all, for a better outcome. Duration of the event: From 08:00 on December 27, 2011, to 23:00 on February 29, 2012. Participants: All Haoyou members, with no restrictions. Activity requirement: Any suggestions that contribute to the development of the forum will be rewarded upon adoption. Activity rewards: 5–20 wealth points will be given for replies (the amount depends on the quality of the post); only the moderators of the Coal Chemicals section, its assistants, and super moderators are allowed to score posts. Don’t impose too many restrictions on newly registered members; they are new and not familiar with the forum yet, so there’s no need for so many restrictions. You can’t post when you enter this section, and you can’t reply when you enter that section. It has created too many obstacles to the growth of new members. It is recommended that the forum create a dedicated section to help new members get to know the forum and grow quickly. Also, there should not be too many concepts such as points, reputation, charm, wealth, and contributions – is it really necessary to use so many terms? For regular members, it is sufficient to keep only their points and wealth. It is recommended to refer to the system of the Xiaomuchong forum.
By the way, among those concepts there’s also a reading permission setting; I really don’t understand what the team responsible for building the forum was thinking. Is it really necessary to make it so complicated?
