The motor tripping due to overload has nothing to do with time; it is related to the magnitude of the overload current. The setting value for the thermal relay used for motor overload protection is 1.1 to 1.5 times the rated current, and once the current reaches this level, the motor will trip.
It depends on the settings of your timer; it’s usually around 5 seconds
