Under normal circumstances, in our process, the process engineering team provides the parameters to the manufacturing factory (we generally do not calculate the safety valves), and the manufacturing factory then supplies an appropriate model of safety valve to the piping engineering team.
It is also necessary to know the model or connection method of this safety valve, as well as the material of the valve.
