As a result, the demand for liquid ammonia has increased significantly. Will liquid ammonia production rise substantially in various regions? Prices should be positive. I would like to ask the experts: if there are natural gas pipelines nearby a power plant that can be used as a raw material, can the plant install its own small-scale liquid ammonia production system? Is it appropriate? The consumption is several thousand tons per year.

Thank you. There is a coking plant near our factory site, and natural gas pipelines are also available in the vicinity. Additionally, the power plant generates compressed air, hot steam, as well as electricity – all of which are required for the ammonia production process. If it’s feasible, this approach should result in lower costs compared to purchasing these resources externally. I’m not sure if the idea is feasible.
