In the field of refining and chemical processing, what are the different types of beds found in reactors, and what are their main principles?
Catalytic units are divided into fixed-bed, moving-bed, and fluidized-bed (turbulent bed, rapid bed) types. Fixed-bed and moving-bed reactors are part of the history of early catalytic development; I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never seen them.
