It is the fastest method to use biochemical sludge acclimated to wastewater with similar properties~~~ Culturing it on one’s own is the most cost-effective option~~~ The general steps for culturing bacteria in an aerobic system are as follows: fill the aeration tank with water during the warm season, add nutrients as necessary, start aeration; after several hours of aeration without adding water, stop aeration, allow sedimentation, and then change the water. . After several days of such acclimatization, continuous water feeding and aeration can be carried out. . . This is the anaerobic aeration method. When it is difficult to cultivate bacteria on one’s own, microbial strains can be added. Methods include: stepwise scale-up cultivation (first cultivating sludge with sufficient activity in a smaller facility to use as a strain in the next stage of treatment), and dry sludge cultivation (using the dried sludge from a properly operating treatment system with similar water quality as a strain for cultivation). For toxic or biodegradably difficult industrial wastewater, inoculation is necessary, and a stepwise acclimatization method must be employed (first culturing the seed sludge with domestic wastewater, then using a mixture of domestic and industrial wastewater, and finally acclimating it entirely with industrial wastewater).
