The dry hydrolysis process is a treatment and recovery method for chlorosilane waste (residue) that eliminates the need for waste liquid discharge: 1. It is treated with hydrochloric acid; the by-products are SiO2 and HCl gas, with the HCl gas being able to be reused in the synthesis process; 2. Treatment with CaO emulsion yields dry SiO2 and CaCl2 as by-products ; The hydrolysis reactions in both of the aforementioned processes take place in glass-lined reactors; they can be used to treat distillation residues, synthesis residues, and cold hydrogenation leaching residues, as well as to recover HCl, with no waste liquid being discharged.
